I like the first place prize, extra nice!

Day one of the count is over, at least here on the East coast it is! My count started off with a...slight bang...I seemed to have picked the 15 minutes when all the birds were not hungry

I did see at least 4 different varieties of birds: titmice, chickadees, cardinals and nuthatches. Hopefully with the rain moving in here tomorrow they will be hungry and I will be able to add to my list!

I found in my backyard bird count that my red-headed woodpeckers are actually red-bellied woodpeckers, and that my crows are actually fish crows, and that I can't count my blackbirds because I don't know what kind they are.
I also participated in the GBPBC, Great Back Porch Bunny Count: 1, and the GBSC, Great Backyard Snake Count:0 YEAH!

Thanks for the participation in the...er...GBPBC and GBSC! However, no prize for you! One year!
