My tally of birdies:

1 Orange Variant House Finch
2 Red Bellied Woodpeckers
2 Cardinals
2 Carolina Wrens
2 Black Capped Chickadees
2 Mourning Doves
2 Eurasion Collard Doves

Thats the most I ever observed at one time at my feeders over the 4 days. Pictures coming soon!

I forgot to include 2 European starlings in my tally - can I still get a prize?

So far it looks like Floridamom and Froggyhed are our prize leaders, but interestingly enough neither one wants the first prize since they both already subscribe to Birds and Blooms! Lol! The subscription to Birds and Blooms is still up for grabs to whomever posts next!

This was my first time watching the birdies (thanks Jen and Dustin!). Here are my results. I live on the Gulf Coast, reflected in the seabird count.

1 woodpecker, likely a downy but was too far for me to make a postive id

Sunday, Feb.15th, 8:40-9:00 a.m.:
3 Mourning Doves
1 Tufted Titmouse
2 Eastern Bluebirds
1 Northern Cardinal
5 somethings that were too far away for me to see

Monday, Feb. 16th, 5:40-6:00 p.m.:
1 Downy Woodpecker
3 Carolina Chickadees
2 Tufted Titmice
1 White-breasted Nuthatch

For a total of 9 different species that I could positively identify and 32 individuals seen over the 4 day period! I'm eager to participate again next year!
