The purpose of this site is merely to entertain amateur bird watchers and photographers like myself.  Actually, the use of amateur to describe both my bird watching and photographing is quite generous.  Essentially I have a deck with 3 different types of feeders that attract 10 different types of birds and when I have some free time I wait for them to land in front of my camera.  However, it provides me with untold entertainment and enjoyment.  Many people are true die-hard bird watchers and I salute them. 

I also welcome any suggestions, tips, recipes and of course photographs that may be forthcoming, so long as they fit in with the birdie theme (oh, despite the fact that they are natural enemies, this is a kitty friendly site and your cute kitty photos are welcome, so long as kitty isn't eating a birdie!).  Please, friendly and family-oriented photos only!
